What to expect?

You will work in several departments to learn all the fields of activity of an industrial clerk – e.g. the production and order process with China, the communication with our customers, suppliers, staff and partners. Bit by bit you will be given more responsibility and you will learn to manage economic processes. Besides commercial tasks you will also get to know areas like storage management, shipment and logistics in our training.

As a family business we often offer our apprentices an indefinite, secure job after a successful graduation with many further training opportunities.

Department Merchandising

I did my training to become an industrial clerk here at Sieber and successfully graduated in 1991 – meaning I am part of this company for over 30 years now. I became an instructor in 2001 as I wanted to actively shape and help the next generation of Sieber employees. Since 2002 I am also a member of the IHK examination board.

What do our apprentices say?

I always enjoyed the versatile tasks in the different departments. The „togetherness“ and family athmosphere is important here at Sieber – if sombody needs help, everyone works together. I like comming to work every day.

There is a friendly athmosphere at Sieber and no question is „too stupid“ to ask. I learned a lot already as I am allowed to carry out tasks independently. Especially in the communication with customers and staff I became so much more confident.
